Insurance and Self Pays

GIFTS accepts insurance as a form of payment. Specific clinicians accept clients from specific insurance companies, including:

  • Aetna

  • UnitedHealthcare

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Cigna Behavioral Health

  • Medicaid

    • Priority Partners, Wellpoint (formally Amerigroup), Maryland Physician's Care, Kaiser Permanente, JAI Medical, United Healthcare, Care First BCBS Community Health Plan MD, Medstar Family Choice

Insurance

If your insurance is not included above, GIFTS is an out of network provider.

If your insurance includes Out of Network benefits:

Pay the full cost of each session until you reach your Out of Network Deductible amount (contact your insurance provider about this). After you reach your deductible, you will pay a portion of the cost and your provider will pay the rest.

If you do not have Out of Network benefits:

You would pay out of pocket for each service, see fees below.

Out of Network Benefits

  • Individual Therapy - $350 (Self-Pay intake evaluation) & $180 (subsequent visits)

    Couples Therapy - $250

    Family Therapy - $250

    Hypnotherapy - $200 *we do not accept insurance for this service

  • Medication Evaluation - $250

    Medication Evaluation - $250

    Script Fee - $35

  • Cognitive Evaluation - $800 to $1100

    Psychoeducation Evaluation - $1200 to $1500

    Bariatric Evaluation - $350

    Gender Affirmation Evaluation - $350

    Immigration Evaluation - $150

    Clinical Interview/Consultation - $300

  • $75 per appointment (if cancelled less than 24 hours in advance)

  • Phone Consultation (10-20 minutes maximum).*Current Clients Only, Under Discretion of Therapist

    - $50 (Due at Time of Service)
